“I haven’t decided going or not.” Cici briefly answered to Binnie’s question and went back to a little thinking.

“Why? Is it because of the bikini?” Binnie asked further.

“No! It’s not about that.” Cici did not realize Binnie’s change of expression.

“Then is it about that Alex?” Binnie looked at Cici closely for an answer that he hoped would satisfy his thirst of curiosity. But was it just curiosity? Or something else?

Cici was a little surprised on Binnie’s question. “Why? Why are you mentioning him?” Looking at his facial expression, Cici continued, “It seems you don’t trust me?”

“It’s not about trust. I am just asking a question.” Binnie felt she was over reacted, not realizing the word jealousy was all over his face.

“If you trust me, you won’t be mentioning him.” Cici felt he was pushing a little too far, if not because of jealousy she read on his face.

“It’s OK to mention him, isn’t it? What’s the problem?” And then, he thought deep in his heart his instinct might be correct.

“No, there is no problem. Just he is not important.”

“So was it him calling you at the drama site? Someone unimportant?” Binnie gave more pressure.

Cici looked at Binnie with disbelief. She would not expect he would be so persistent.

JinJin gave a little kick to Ari’s elbow. “Are they fighting?”

“Yeah, I think so. But which pair of lovers doesn’t fight?” Ari said but she was watching Binci closely.

“We never fight coz we love each other so much.” JinJin whispered to Ari.

Ari turned to look at her love, “You had not said you love me for some time.” She whispered back, afraid of being heard by others.

They touched forehead to forehead, their prominent act of love and affection for each other!

Eunwoo asked Shantel quietly, “Can you help?”

“Yes of course, I know what to do. I will check with Lily.” Shantel was so clever she left the table to call Lily.

“Yes, he called me. So what? He is not important and I am thinking of turning down the project altogether.” Cici said to Binnie but she was quite unhappy about Binnie’s persisting attitude.

“Why you didn’t tell me that’s him when I first asked you? Was there something to hide?”

“Hide? What do you mean? There was nothing to hide.” Cici was getting a bit annoyed on Binnie’s statement.

Ari and JinJin both sensed their conversation was getting too tense and they wanted to help by stopping them.

“Anyone care for coffee?” Ari asked.

“Yeah, I want coffee. Let’s get some Ari.” Cici responded and she knew Ari was trying to help so both of them left the table to make coffee in the kitchen.

“Thanks Ari! Binnie was getting on my nerve.” Cici said while preparing the cups and saucers.

Air was brewing coffee and said, “Cici, you and Binne love each other such a lot, and I just hope nothing would come in between the two of you.” Ari turned to look at Cici, “Is there anything I can help?”

Shantel dialed Lily on her cell, “Lily, sorry to call you at this hour. Can I ask you about Alex Lim?”

“Ohh, Alex! He is just trouble.” Lily said immediately.

“I think so too. Binci are having a fight because of him.” Shantel told Lily.

“Honestly, I don’t know much about him. Just a client we signed up recently.” With a slight pause, Lily continued. “But only between you and me, I think he has a crush on Cici.”

“Is that so? No wonder Binnie acted this way, I think he is sensing some threat! Too bad I can’t help with the ad. If only my contract allows me.”

“Wait, thanks for mentioning. Let me consult my legal counsel.”

“Lily, I am not trying to steal the job from Cici but please keep us updated. Bye for now.” Shantel hung up with Lily.

Shantel told Eunwoo about her conversation with Lily while Cici and Air returned to the dining room with trays of coffee and the cutleries.

When Cici sat down again, Binnie said, “Let me know tomorrow whether you will be going to Lily. I will be going with you.”

Hearing that, Cici was entirely discouraged.

She poured herself a full cup of coffee and after a few sips, she wasn’t really enjoying the night anymore. “I am calling it a night. Goodbye to y’all.” She rose from the table, left the dorm and drove home.

Binnie was the first to give out a big sigh seeing her reaction followed by a few others.

Binnie then retreated to his bedroom without saying a word.

He was a bit upset on Cici’s reaction. Was it true what his instinct was telling him? He felt threatened on Alex Lim’s attitude and behaviour on Cici the first time they met.

On a second thought, he texted Sanha.

MB     : Maknae, did you talk to Sarah

Sanha: Hyung, I talk to her everyday

MB     : Can I call her and ask her a question?

Sanha: what is your question? I can ask for you

MB     : I can’t talk to her?

Sanha: I can ask her the question

MB     : Oh, you are really helpful!!

Sanha: what’s the question

MB     : just ask her what are ABC

Sanha: what is that

MB     : do I need to ask if I knew, just ask

Sanha: OK

Very soon, the girls left the dorm with Ari sending Shantel and Sheka home.

After the girls’ departure, JinJin came into the bedroom while Binnie was waiting for Sanha’s reply.

“Hey, Binnie, is there a problem between you and Cici with that Alex?” JinJin went straight ahead seeing Binnie staring blanking at the ceiling. His stare always confirmed he had a little trouble.

“I don’t know. She kept on saying he is unimportant.” Binnie answered his caring leader.

JinJin took Binnie’s phone sitting next to him on the bed and he dialed Cici, “So why fight over someone who is unimportant?” JinJin said and handed him the phone.

Binnie took his phone from JinJin. He looked at the calling mode and waiting for Cici to pick up.

Cici was already home and her phone rang. She hesitated on picking it up.

Binnie waited but it turned out Cici’s phone was busy. The ringing stopped. Who was she talking to at this hour? Would it be Alex? If not, who???
