Moonbin stood very still. He froze as he watched the girl ready to press on the doorbell.

It’s impossible. It couldn’t be her. Eunwoo would not do that to me!

JinJin came to answer the door.

“Hi, I have a courier package for Eunwoo from Fantagio.” The girl said to JinJin.

JinJin took over the box from the girl, “Thank you!” And as the girl left, he saw Moonbin standing a few steps away.

“Binnie, here you are with our dinner.” JinJin said and he noticed his weird expression. “Are you alright? You coming in?”

“Ah, yes!” Moonbin recovered from his shock.

JinJin brought the package to Eunwoo’s room and returned to the dining room just as Moonbin placed the dinner and beer on the table.

“Binnie, if you allow us we will all help you.” JinJin the leader was always so caring.

Moonbin ignored his hyung, “I don’t know what you mean. I go wash my hands and let’s eat.”

Sanha came with Kiyumi. “Sanha, call Sarah and ask her about Cici.”

“What about her? The same old Cici is working 18/7 at the cooking school. Hugging BinBin to sleep and doing nothing else.” Sanha took a piece of chicken from the takeout box.

Moonbin overheard Sanha’s words while in the washroom. He looked at himself in the mirror, analyzing his feelings for Cici.

He did miss her now and then. But what for?

LOVE? Was there still love? Why wasting time on impossibilities.

He sighed and ed the others in the dining room.

It was their first beer night after the month long promotion. Their hard works were rewarded with three wins and the entire fandom went crazy for the All Yours concept, the title track and b-sides and their stage performances.

“Now, let’s drink to our wins and thank you guys for the hard work!” JinJin proposed a toast.

“Cheers!” The whole team was so happy with this album release, 3 wins and the album sales were all out of their expectations.

Eunwoo’s phone rang and the caller was Megan. “Hi Megan, wish you were here! We are having a beer party.”

“You have a recording tomorrow afternoon, don’t drink too much! By the way, is everybody here?” Megan asked.

“Yes, what do you want?” Eunwoo asked their manager in the promotion and recruiting department.

“Put me on speaker phone. I have something to tell everyone.” Megan said.

Eunwoo complied and Megan started, “Hi, I’ve got Eunwoo an assistant. Someone you all know very well, Cici will start from next Monday and she will stay at Ari’s condo like before. Hope you will all co-operate with her.”

After Megan finished, nobody said a thing but all turned to look at Moonbin.

The expressionless Moonbin took his beer and left the table. He returned to his bedroom.

A message came to Sanha’s phone, “Cici is coming to Seoul.”

Sanha replied, “We all just heard from Megan, I shall call you later.”

“OK!” Sarah replied.

“Enjoy your dinner and Eunwoo, let me talk to you.” Megan said.

Eunwoo picked up his phone and walked to his bedroom.

Everyone turned their attention back to the spicy chicken and cold beer with more cheers.

“Megan, I am now alone in my room.”

“How is Binnie?” Megan asked.

“He said nothing and just went to his bedroom.” Eunwoo was a little worried, “Are we doing the right thing?”

“I called Cici after you told me Binnie didn’t like the idea, but Cici said yes just with a 10 seconds hesitation.” Megan continued, “We just wait and see. And you really need an assistant anyways, so why not Cici as she is experienced and responsible.”

When everybody returned to their own bedroom, Sanha called Sarah right away, “We heard the news, Cici shall be assistant to Eunwoo.” Sanha was hoping Sarah would come too.

“It was a total surprise Cici accepts the offer though.” Sarah told Sanha.

“Will you come to Seoul too?” Sanha was hopeful.

“No, my mom won’t allow.” Sarah was devastated.

“Go to Cici’s mom. She can influence your mother. I miss you.” Sanha missed her badly.

“I will try. I miss you too. How is everyone?”

“We just finished our new album promotion and will work on individual projects. Ouch!” Kiyumi was biting his finger.

“OK, I will ask Cecil and good night.” They hung up and the other two boys wanted some answers from him.

“Cici accepted the offer and Sarah will try to come with her.” Sanha gave a full and accurate report.

“This is not so simple.” MJ continued with hands in the air as if clouds and storm were forming, “I shall see a storm coming with occasional thunder claps and lightning!” MJ was always exaggerating and Rocky kept on nodding his head agreeing to his hyung’s futuristic imagination.

“I can’t worry that much. 2 more calm days before the storm arrives and I am hitting the sack. Good night!” Sanha fell back to his pillow and Kiyumi meowed before making her bed close to him.

Moonbin was sipping his beer.

So in the end Cici was hired despite his opposition based on company decision.

2 more days he would be seeing her again!

It was almost a year since they broke up and how should he handle the situation?

Friends? Could they still be friends?

He finished the last mouthful of the beer from the can and with a slight squeeze, the can was crushed and deformed.

A decision was made.
