Assassin's Creed II review

Today I will review Assassin's Creed II.

Gameplay

This was a game that came two years after the first Assassin's Creed and so it had its time to improve on some major aspects from the previous title. Things like the combat, stealth and parkour all evolved to the best in this game.

The setting was absolutely delightful and so was Ezio and the entirety of characters.

Missions were better constructed and were more pleasing to play. I had tons of fun while playing as Ezio in this adaptation of Renaissance Italy.

Still combat was a little bit boring and lacked fluidity, thus making me avoid it when there were too many enemies arround. And some of the missions were simply dull as well.

Story

This game introduced us to an all new character and setting and so because of that we could all expect that it was going to be completely different from the past game.

This was a story I really did appreciated, it served as a perfect origin story for Ezio and all the games we played as him.

Through the main missions we slowly get to know the war that is happening between Templars and Assassins and how that hbbbbbbb affected and continues to affect Italy and as so Ezio. Again, this game is a wonderful origin story.

The modern day gets more interesting in this game and we start to learn some more things now. It introduced us to some other characters and that was good because it took away the monotony present in the previous game.

The Truth was something that added a bit of mystery to the overall story of Assassin's Creed and prepared things for the next game in a way.

AC II was a game I first played in 2017, several years after it's release. Still I managed to have lots of fun and because of that this game remains dear in my heart.
