Why do you want to ?

I've always has a special place in my heart for poetry. Reading stories is a day to day task of mine, especially older literature. I appreciate the beauty of words and how they tell story. As far as the writing itself goes I'd like to say I'm fairly average. I can't make words dance across a page or touch hearts, but I'm inclined to believe I'm capable. I'm yet to participate in any clubs and I am hopeful to begin my journey with the writing club. :')

How did you get into writing?

I always loved reading books, and wished to write a few of my own. I knew of QuoteV, so I published my first short story and got 35,000+ reads and 1,000+ followers. It motivated me to produce more content, at one point I prioritised it over school work. People I knew began to stumble across my profile, god knows how they found it. I got a bit of backlash, but that didn't discourage me. I still produce content, I just make my stories anonymous so none of my recent projects can be traced back to my by people I know. ;w;
