My journey through ACA

Hey everyone, since it’s ACA’s 2nd anniversary I’ve decided to write a small blog about my experience here, how it impacted my life, and what changes I liked throughout my stay.

Those who don’t know me, I’m Otaku, nice to meet ya.

Once upon a time, it all started when I had a friend irl who kept talking nonstop about roleplaying and her boyfriend. I wasn’t interested at the time, but when she mentioned there were anime fan-based communities, I was immediately intrigued. Since I was new to the app, the first community I ed was this one, where my friend was active. It was very awkward for me since I wasn’t used to it, and I thought there were mini communities within this one. It turned out they were just the public chats. I finally found my friend, and that’s where my journey really began. I met all these new people from all over the world and I was really really happy. I felt welcomed and warm, like a new family bond. However, as the time ed, each person I knew slowly grew apart and the community no longer felt how it was when I first ed. Even though that happened, I really enjoyed this community so I made the decision to stay. In fact, if I hadn’t stayed, I wouldn’t have met the people who’ve changed my life, who’ve helped me during tough times, those who I’m forever grateful I’ve met. Since I’m terrible with expressing how I feel with words, I’ll list the most important people to me.

I want you all to know how much I love you guys and that I will always be here for you. I will never ever regret meeting you guys, thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I hope someday I can repay you with the same kindness and love you guys have shown me. :heart:

Also if you guys haven’t noticed, I’m part of the WC (welcome committee), the art club, and News Team. And as co-leader to the WC, I’d like to say a few words of gratitude and encouragement to y’all.

ing the WC wasn’t something I hated or regretted ever. It was a great experience having to work with awesome people like you guys. Thanks for being cooperative and active, you guys are the best team I could ask for. I’ll always look forward to working with y’all. Keep up the good work! I’m proud of you guys.

I absolutely have no regrets of staying here, it’s still quite enjoyable even though it lacks the activity it used to have. The teams I have ed made my experience even better. Shout out to the Welcome Committee, the Art Club, and the News Team. Regarding the changes, there were many things that changed here since the very beginning, and I wouldn’t say I dislike it or like it either. The community is still undergoing the changing process so until that’s done, I don’t really have a say in what I like or don’t like about the community changes throughout these months.

Overall, my experience here was a bit like a rollercoaster, there were ups and downs, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Without this community, again, I wouldn’t have met the people I hold dearly to my heart, teams that I love working with, and people from all over the world. Thanks Koro for creating this wonderful/amazing community!

If you guys have made it this far into my blog, congratulations. I realize I’m a bit late on the anniversary date, but it’s better to write it rather than not.

I did say it was about my experience here, but it was more of an appreciation post than what it originally was supposed to be. :joy:
