guys I got so busy this month I wasn't able to finish my #MermayMerslay entry 🥲 (or what day it was tbh)

I will post what I ended up creating even though it's not finished (and not entered) bc tbh I'm obsessed with what it could have been haha

Without further ado, we have:

Lowkey don't know if I even want to finish it, this was already 6 hours of work.

The scales were my nightmare.

The speed paint only shows the *last* attempt at making them, I tried 3 different types of scales.

1. Snake scales

2. Half snake/Half mermaid

3. The finished product lol

(^ the worst part is I individually did each scale without any shortcuts for the first two)

The plan was to shade each scale so they would pop individually also while looking like some type of banana peel 🥲
