spoilers || that maewing went yeet || genesis part 2 playthrough

hello everyone!

excuse my grammar i suck at it---

yesterday afternoon i just got genesis 1 and 2! which ive never played before! sadly sue to the glitches and lore my motiin sickness wont allow me to play part 1 so onto part 2! watching a few play throughs!!

the intro

basically only knowing the ending of part 1 with seeing helena and going to the actual ark not knowing anything else i woke up to being dragged by a tentacle me not knwoing the ending flipped out and spammed the ounch button in reflex doing nothing (not realizing it was a cutscene) i see a door as h.l.n.a (helena as ill call her) slams the door shut killing the tentacls thing off as rockwell speaks me being the jokester i am laugh nervously and i say quote "look at those peepers--- im in danger" he says his quote as she teleports us off the stasis area and into the word of Genesis

day 1-5

i listened to her explanation about how rockwell was trying to get controll of the ship and id need to access the stuff yada yada as i ram around like a regular run collecting the usual resources, i looked at my map instinctively and walla to my surprise the whole map was there! i was happy and i knew i needed to find a place to set down get resources and a tame fast

so i took off and flew towards the center of the right side of the map (aka the safe side this will be important later, the left side i just call the upside down or the curropt zone) i land mear a lake grab some metal do the classic things and while im ing i lay my eyes upon the platapus or its ark name

the maewing

mission 1 - maewing taming

me not knowing anything grabbed bolas and tranq arrows and ran up to the maewing it was a dark brown with a orange belly n orange spots a level 112 not bad since my max was 150 as i try to bola it and i see it do nothing and then i just see it dissapear i was confused i flew up to find it and lost it completely then i found it again tried again and i saw it launched itself away i was just in confusion and awe at a flying platapus.... didnt know i wanted one until then

sooooo knowimg that didnt work i made the next biggest trap a bear trap....found what would soon be my maewing a 112 dark red and white maewing i set traps up and this is the first time i have ever used bear traps i set it up underneath the maewing and i was confused when i saw that when it stepped off the trap was set off soooooo i went and made another bigger one the large bear trap did the same thing and ya know what it did

after wathing it thats when i realized it took awhile to open up then trap so i found a low level maewing lvl 12 to be exact and tested the traps saw that the large one worked and it only took 2 tranq arrows with my settings and it took berrys so i was good to go killed off the low level and went after my prize

i got back to the lvl 112 and set a field of large bear traps soon i caught it and shot 8 tranq arrows into its head.....

worse case had struck it launched

the maewing had broken free and launched itself away from me, when i said i was at the center of the right side? it launched itself off that edge and into that middle river and fell out of render i just sat at the edge for a good 5 minutes contemplating what have i just seen.....

i ran home grabbed some large bear traps flew to the edge and leaped down flyign to where i last saw the maewing fall, and to my sadnwss i see a red n white body flopped on the ground on a platform....

i thought it was dead

but when i came up it was alive!

halfway through its fall it knocked out and out of pure luck it landed on a platform and knocked out so i was just in relief and tamed them up quick and named them yeetus

i bought a cryo pod and flew out of there

day 3-5 - Base

now i had a tame i needed to decide where i wanted my base i knew i wanted it at the entrance to the curropt zone for a good launch point so that where i went-- found a spot with some waterfalls and a flat spot and set up there tamed another maewing and a parasaur built a simple platform for my stations etc

day 5 - me being the dumb person i am

as in this title part i was dumb i grabbed yeetus and went to the age to the curropt zone did a hard saze and ran in....like the dumb person i am i flew into space with a maewing......yeaaaaah that didn't go well ran right in a void wyrm and died...... so i restarted my game and i was at the hard save....so i went right home after grabbed some orange loot droos and called it a day
