:seven: :ring: s — shuffle challenge entry

hiii aga! im hails and this is my entry for the remy! for this challenge we had to put arianas entire discography on shuffle and then whatever the first song we got was, we had to make something themed around it! we are allowed to make whatever we want; edits, peoms, stories, themes, etc etc. as long as it is themed around the song we got.

for my song i got 7 rings! technically I got Saturn Returns Interlude but I wanted to get a song with instrumentals and stuff so I shuffled it one more time (which remy said was okay in the challenge blog! so im not breaking any rules :relieved: ) and then got 7 rings! I was really happy to to get this song, as its honestly a bit nostalgic to me. it was the first ariana song I heard (which is not really all that surprising since it was so popular when it came out lol but still), and i was soo obsessed with it for forever and idk I just love this song. its a classic :)

anyway, I decided to make some edits for my entry (very surprising, I know :stuck_out_tongue: )! ive made a complex edit, 2 themes, and a manip. ive never made a manip before so it was a fun new experience for me! keep reading to see how they turned out.

I decided to keep the themes fairly simple for this. I really like them though! I spent some time searching pinterest for the images, then I used inshot to put borders on them, and then honestly I was done. though theyre simple theyre still cute!

I dont think this is my best complex edit that I've made, but I do really like it!! I had a lot of trouble getting it to look just right. theres nothing much to explain but essentially I just imported my background into picsart and then went wild with pngs, overlays, text, and stickers. I messed with it a lot to get it to look the way I wanted it to. once I was done I added my watermark and then opened polarr to look for a filter. I always have the hardest time picking a filter because im so particular about it lol. once I found a good one I saved it and done!

the manip

this was my first manip ever so please dont judge lol. I actually really enjoyed making it though! I didnt do too too much to it. i added some extra highlighting and bronzing to her face, I added a much larger wing to her eyeliner, and gave her an eyebrow slit lol. I changed the pattern on her sleeve as well by using the smudge tool and just smudging all the colors together until it looked cool. I added some purple streaks in her hair, gave her some cool cartilage piercings on her ear as well as a nose ring. I drew over her giant earring to make it look a bit more cartoony. I did the same thing on her choker and one fingernail too. and lastly I added the text "7 rings" at the top.

I apologize if the extra piercings I added are not exactly correct anatomy-wise, but im not a piercing expert lol. i tried my best to make them look natural though.

I honestly really really love how it turned out! its simple but I love it.
