Ok, veamos algunas cosas.

En saludos tenemos:

Pronombre:

I'm (yo soy)

Todavía no hace falta reconocer palabras o traducir correctamente oraciones, pero vamos a reconocer Pronombres y verbos.

Verb /be/ = ser/estar

'm/am/am not/ 'm not

're/Are/aren't

Estos son importantes y muy sencillos. Por ahora aprendamos su forma más sencilla pero hay que aclarar que hay tres formas del verb to be.

Examples:

A: Hello, I'M Albert.

N:Hi, I'M Nicole.

A: Nice to meet you, Nicole.

N: And you. ARE you here on holiday?

A:No, I'M NOT. I'M here to study. And you? ARE you here on holiday?

N: Yes, I AM.

¿Por qué 'M, 'RE y ARE?

Cuándo se habla o escribe formalmente se usa AM o ARE. Cuándo es informal se usa 'M o AREN'T. Estas contracciones también facilita la charla con fluidez (:

(?) ARE va siempre al frente de una pregunta, es su forma gramatical. Ejemplo:

(+)You ARE on holiday. (Tú estás en vacaciones)

(?)ARE you on holiday? (Estás en vacaciones?

En inglés el pronombre siempre se pone, es importante recordar esto.
