How To Properly Not Suck

As someone who is above average at Apex Legends, I see a lot of basic mistakes which people make going from game to game. While these range from easy to understand, to “what does that even mean?”, I feel as though it is almost necessary to know these in high level play. Now, I don’t think I’m the best at the game, so this isn’t a guide to get good. This is a guide to not suck.

(Note: This isn’t a tutorial. This was made with the presumption that you know how to play.)

(Second Note: Heard these tips before? I don’t care!)

Tip 1:

Know when to engage. If you have a white shield and R-99 then attack a Wraith with gold shields, a mastiff, and TTV in their name, just run away.

Tip 2:

Please give legendaries to people who can use them better. You don’t need a gold helmet Octane. Give it to Gibraltar.

Mini Tip: Look both ways before crossing an enemy’s line of fire.

Tip 3:

If you play as a ultimate accelerant spamming (Bloodhound) legend: A. You get gold shield privileges. B. Use low ammo guns (Wingman, Peacekeeper, etc.)

Tip 4:

If you are in a fight, and get away to heal, use full healers, such as the med-kit. While a single small heal is quicker, several of them become longer than a single big heal

Tip 5:

On the same note, use shields to heal quickly as they are faster.

Tip 6:

If you want the unlock able legends, don’t pick Mirage as he is very underpowered as of yet.

Tip 7:

Always take airdrop weapons. They’re designed to be some of the best guns in the game. Or at least convince your teammates to take them.

Tip 8:

If you are pinned down by sniper fire, you can just run out of their line of sight and leave. Crazy, right?
