'' Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi'' is a heartwarming romance drama that tackles pertinent lessons. It follows Tsuneo, a guy who dreams of studying marine biology overseas while grappling with financial responsibilities. Then there is Joose, a 24-year-old with physical abnormalities from birth. Josee's grandma chose to employ Tsuneo as a caretaker so that he could hedge against Josee from unfortunate events, thus preventing her from leaving the house.

Josee's disability is the primary reason for her limited mobility. I ire how they turned this film into a reality, portraying the difficulties experienced by someone with paraplegia. This is the second time I've seen a series depicting this type of impairment. They're both sitting in a wheelchair. There is a disparity between the first series I've seen: the protagonist can work freely, whereas Josee is unable to work and is terrified to leave the house. In actuality, as kids, we had to depend on our loved ones until we finished school. After that, you'll be employed to make sure you are capable of ing your parents in the future. In short, you'll continue to rely on your parents until you reach adulthood. While we acknowledge that Josee is not yet capable, she is motivated to become self-sufficient with the help of Tsuneo to alleviate her grandmother's work. To ensure that her grandmother doesn't have to worry, demonstrating that she can live without her help.

Her condition isolated her, and her dread increased when someone pushed her wheelchair, resulting in an accident. Her grandmother got increasingly stringent about her going out. She felt condemned and undervalued because of her handicap, but her isolation demonstrated that she was capable of living freely. Since encountering Tsuneo, her journey in life has been filled with vivid colours. Josee was given a cause to believe in herself and not care about what somebody else might criticise. She decided to be tough and conquer her qualms.

Tsuneo's ambition is to pursue degrees in Marine Biology abroad, but his lack of finances prevents him from doing so. Notwithstanding his enthusiasm and tenaciousness, he finds it tough to save money, as if he is trying to reach his goal which is for him—unreachable. Tsuneo is the type of person who declines to surrender or give up on his dreams, which is precisely why he works various part-time jobs to himself and his studies in the future. He also worked in a Scuba Diving shop and eventually became an ocean diver, photographing many sorts of fish. His urge to study marine biology grew stronger. Tsuneo became even more enthused, and he pushed himself even harder until he was accepted for the scholarship he applied for. His devotion and struggle in life demonstrate that if you want to achieve something in life, nothing is impossible; you simply need to be motivated and persistent for all of your dreams to come reality.

Josee was talented at drawing, yet she no longer buried it in a grave for several years partly because of anxiety, a lack of encouragement, and feeling hopeless. She does not envision a future for herself in the arts. However, Josee's encounters with the magnificence of the environment outside of their house led her to make new friendships and gradually identify the sheer delight of creating. She resumed drawing, initially hesitant, but later her joy for drawing emerged. Her path in this series is to rediscover her skill, which she had concealed for many years. Not only are the drawings bright and vivid but so are aspects of our lives. Let us be confident, regardless of what others think, and show who we're actually and how true we are to ourselves.

These two main characters have aspirations that they desire to attain, and both face obstacles to those dreams. When they came together, it became a chance for Tsuneo to brush up on how to fight more effectively against financial problems, whereas Josee was struggling because of psychological fear. Although their difficulties differ, their determination to pursue their aspirations is important to this. In the end, they both learned, as I did, by following the series. My dream is to have my own home and land for my family. I've been striving to attain something up until now. Just trust everything and to thank God.

Expect this to be a slow-burning romance. It began with irritation, but they eventually reached an understanding. Actually, their behaviour is diametrically opposed; while Josee is unyielding and sharp-tongued, Tsuneo is extremely patient, which is why he always obeys Josee's requests. Tsuneo initially thought of Josee as a job but they eventually, though they appear to understand both each other and their dreams. When Tsuneo discovered Josee's unmet dreams, he assisted her in fulfilling them all, and Josee conquered her anxiety of venturing outside of her comfort zone.

She learned to enjoy and marvel at the world by exploring outside of her comfort zone. Their relationship helps to keep them calm. The sad thing is that Tsuneo suffered an accident that left him in a wheelchair, and he was also stripped of his scholarship. I cried because when he achieves his objective, is when he was unable to walk. While Josee fought, she drew again for Tsuneo, so she can show it to Tsuneo his dream and not to give up. Finally, their shared aspirations and mutual respect are what drove them to improve. Tsuneo is no longer a caretaker, but rather a particular someone with whom Josee can empathise. They determined bravery through love and embrace freely. Their love represents how real their relationship is, which leads them to healing.

Tiger represents Josee's dread and worries about the outside world, which is why she is restricted to their house with her grandmother. Josee believes that the world is frightening and unpredictable and that her life may be in danger. However, as the series neared its conclusion, she progressively addressed the metaphorical tiger. The series' critical moment was Tsuneo's accident. This expands our knowledge of Josee's difficulties. When he realised how difficult Josee's situation was, he almost gave up hope. Even though this had happened to him, he couldn't blame Josee. For me, the Tiger fear represents not only Josee but also Tsuneo's fear of failing to attain his objective. Hmm, what is my fear in life? Perhaps Mama, if she'll leave me. In fact, when my father disappeared, my world nearly crashed because I was the only one expected of us. To make ends meet, I gave up studying. Thankfully, we coped since he ed away. Eight years have ed. That's why I can relate to the story; I wondered if my mother left me, would I be able to stand on my own two feet? My tiger fear has yet to arrive, and I hope it never does.

The ocean implies freedom, but Josee finds it terrifying and unmanageable. This is also the source of her concern about her impairment. But, because Tsuneo accompanied her to the sea, the once-dangerous symbol became a source of confidence for Josee. Her experience with Tsuneo ultimately leads to self-acceptance and independence. She realised that life is both uncertain and full of possibilities. Ocean represented fear, but she discovered courage and optimism. Eventually, they discovered their own types of freedom. The protagonists in this novel have been through a lot. What will win out in the battle between determination and giving up. Despite adversity, both deserve happiness.

At last, the film reveals that happiness is achievable amidst adversity. Mental, physical, and contextual limitations do not define both Josee and Tsuneo's characters. Impairments or earlier struggles that defined Josee, in fact, proved that impairment does not hold anyone from happiness and freedom. With patience and cooperation, both understand that even the most unfortunate phase of life brings glamour and chance to it. Their story sets an example where courage, gradual development, and the pursuit of happiness are cultivated despite the ambiguity of life.

Adding more emotional depth, the film blends amusing and meaningful ideas that add a poignant quality to the story while inspiring and motivating the characters. Instead of focusing on romantic love, the film Josee, the Tiger and the Fish celebrates the life that is always beautiful as it is very unique and unforgettable.

I give this anime movie a 9/10. I don't know how to express how much I enjoy this series. You can learn a lot about dreams by watching it. Certainly, each of you here has a desire, something to strive for, whereas some have not yet. You'll learn a lot here.
