The sly and deceptive Asagiri Gen from Doctor Stone indeed has a unique appearance. From the moment he was introduced, his looks and appearances were captivating. In my opinion, it really suited his deetive and sly nature. If I have to describe his appearances, I would say that it doesn't really give him an intimidating aura but at the same time, it makes one aware of the fact that he is a person who we needs to remain cautious about. This was the type of influential thoughts I had when I saw Asagiri for the first time as predicted, he certainly turned out to be a shrewd and cunning character. For the starters, Gen is a fairly tall person whose height is almost same as that of Senku. His body built is lean and his attire accentuates his slim figure more. He tends to wear a yukata and an overcoat over it which gives off a proper lean shape to him. One of the most attractive feature of Gen that I personally really loved is the scar that he has.

Since the Doctor Stone premise introduces us to an apocalyptic situation where the whole world has turned into stone, when everyone is revived one by one by Senku, their earlier stone configuration gave them certain scars on their faces and body. This is how Gen got the pertrification scar that goes down the middle of his face and resembles a deep wound. I personally really loved that scar as at times, it gave him that deceptive and cool aura. His hair is another personal favourite of mine since jt resembles a lot to one of my other favourtie character, Todoroki. His hair is split in right half and the dichromatic colour scheme of his hair just adds to the unusal touch to Gen's overall character and persona. Like I mentioned earlier, Gen's appearances definitely suits his personality especially the scar which gives him a manuplative look. At the same time, his soft and goofy nature is also balanced with his appearances. Needless to say, Gen is indeed attractive in many ways. During one of the infiltration mission, Gen was supposed to crossdress and that of him mesmerized me because I just appreciated how attractive he looked even while crossdressing. In the end, Gen's sharp features and yet soft touches makes him a character that is difficult and yet easy to read.

Gen has one of the most intresting and complex perosnality traits if I say so myself. While watching him throught the anime and reading about him more in the manga, I would not hesitate to claim that he is by far one of the best fleshed out character with an uniquely complex personality. To begin with, lets put down the obvious facts that are usually overshadowed while talking about Gen. Gen, in reality, is a selfish person who does things which befits him in any way possible. His very first interactions with Senku as he pulled Gen to his side by birbing him with coke proves that Gen is someone who would side with the one whom he thinks would benefit himself. Its not necessarily a bad trait because Gen is a loyal person but it id certainly alarming because of his manupaltive behaviour. Gen has the ability to change his voice and play mind tricks on people which counters to my claim of him being a potential important threat. He is deceptive and his deception mannerisms are his characteristic traits that makes up for his charming personality. Personally, I really enjoyed watching Gen putting into action his manipulative skills. It was really enjoyable to see him use his ability to the fullest.

One of the thing that is necessary to mention is that Gen is uses manupalitive techniques which in reality are simple mind tricks. This cunning usage of simple traits to transform them into a whole new level of shrewdness is what gives Gen his position as one of the most important person in the crew. This is one of the reason why I highly appreciate Gen. The insane amount of psychology that he puts behind using simple things into sly and threatning ones is indeed irable but dangerous at the same time. I won't claim Gen to be a twisted person because he is nothing but far from that claim. However, some of his actions may have the tendency to lean towards that spectrum. His intentions are always clear but his methods may come off as a bit twisted if looked into more. He is more than capable of turning the sides of a battle just using his manuplative skills.He specializes in reading his opponents state to create opportunities for himself. In the end, he shows that not always brawns is the power link but brains are just as strong. With his psychological knowledge, Gen proves that a mere human can be so frightening only with the simple use of brains.

Gen shares a notable and equally enjoyable relationship with Senku. The starting of their friendship is quite uncommon as Gen was initially revived by Tsukasa and ordered to spy on Senku. However, as he saw Senku and the deep knowledge of science he holds, Gen became naturally interested and proceeded to further Senku's side once Senku was able to provide him with his most cherished driknk, cola. From then on, Senku and Gen has been the core of their every mission. Being originally from the modern era, both of these distinct individuals possess different types of intellect which benefits the whole group. Senku is solely focused on the physical aspect whereas Gen is the mind player who helps Senku in his missions by luring people into Senku's group and plans. Initially, I was rather sceptical of Gen's behaviour when he ed Senku's side. The fact that he was able to so skillfully play with the psychological aspects of human brain made me question his loyalty. However, my doubts and unnecssary paranoia vanished when I saw how much Gen appreciated Senku to the point he actually created a telescope as his birthday present. It was an act that showed how close he has grown to Senku and how much he genuinely ired his intellect.

Nextly, I will be talking Gen's relationship with Tsukasa. Personally, I feel that their interaction and bond grew a lot during the time even with all the betrayal and distrust ensuing between them. Foremost, it was Tsukasa who was responsible for reviving Gen even though he didn't really approve of his methods. According to Tsukasa, he claimed to see Gen as a dishonest person who he can't really trust but to compete with the minds par in with Senku, he jad no choice but to revive Gen. This is where we see how both of them already have differences about each other and they don't necessarily start off at an equal footing. Moreover, adding more to Tsukasa's negative claim of Gen, Gen goes ahead and Senku's team which naturally ruined any sort of fleeting bond between them. However, in the manga their relationship progresses a lot better and I genuinely loved how Tsukasa was able to acet Gen with his own power in the form of psychological plays and intellect.

As I have mentioned quite a times before, Gen is very unique or rather a very charming character. Personally, I feel his charisma lies in the way he is so deep with his psychological intellect. Seeing various psychological characters and manipulative ones are not rare to find and in all honesty, we all love to see characters that has this twist to them. Most of the time they are potrayed in a villanious manner but Gen is something far from that. Surely he plays games and tricks but even so, he is a genuinely loyal person. I would say a lot of my own remarks actually contradicts to the essence of his character at times but even so, Gen has proved to be trustworthy friend who would do anything in order to pursue delights. As a mentalist, he is deeply perceptive and has a large knowledge of the human psyche. He is capable of analyzing and understanding obscure messages or drawings with his great knowledge and this ability has helped them a lot of times by coming out of tough situations. Moreover, witht the help of his abiities he is able to make people understand Senku's motives and gain more people into the group for the betterment.

Another notable skill that Gen possess is his trait to lie skilfully. Even though lying is a bad thing its not something that everyone can pull off but as far as Gen is concerned, we can easily claim him to be one of the most trustworthy liar. His lies are so skilfully crafted and spoken that one is forced to believe in them without any suspcision. Gen has stated that the best trick of a mentalist is to "make your joker look like". He has often used the card to compare and prove his points which suggests that he may be quite good at tarot reading which adds again to his level of intellect. Not only is he skillful in the psychological aspect but even when it comes to impersonification, Gen is quite skilled. This ability of his to mimic anyone's voice regardless of their gender intrugued me a lot since its not something we oftenly see. He is capable of mimicking people's voices to the point of being indistinguishable from the original. Personally, i really ired Gen's ability to be such a skilled person that he is able to distort truth in a skilled manner while being superior in other aspects as well.

To conclude this wiki and my personal thoughts on Asagiri Gen, I will have to say that I absolutely love him. Even though initially I was not really sure of his intentions, I ended up loving him the most in the series. Characters like him always makes the shows intersting and needlessy to say, Gen's methods and his purely genius ways really made me look forward to seeing him more in the series. I was deeply in love with his interaction with Senku specifically because of the way these two intellects who were so polar apart from each other in of their intellect, collaborated on various events. It showed how much they genuinely ired each other and acknowledged of each others tactics. Overall, Gen is a really fleshed out and well written character who has stood upto my expectations.
