As the results stated in the graphic above, this was a bit of a close match between the two candidates, with both candidates fighting to get their first win in the voting tournament. And lo and behold, it’s Momo Ayase from Dandadan who will get her first win in the voting tournament. Defeating Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop with the final score of 16-12 at poll closing. Momo’s 57.1% of the votes over Faye’s 42.9% of the votes.

Take a look at the standings for Group A as of poll closing on this Saturday, May 17, not too much of a shakeup because it was expected since the match began earlier this week. Yoruichi Shihoin (Bleach) remains in first place with 59 votes, Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail) stays in fourth place with 39 votes, and Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop) staying in last place with 36 votes now in her column with a 0-3 record and could be the verge, probably already mathematically eliminated if say, from playoff contention. But we got a flip-flop in the standings for the Wild Card spot with Momo Ayase (Dandadan) now in second place with 56 votes, and Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon), who is on a bye this month, now in third place with 44 votes in her column. The top three candidates remain the same in the playoff race, with Erza right on their tail, and Faye, while we didn’t make the call, at least as of this moment, Faye Valentine and the Cowboy Bebop fandom might as well be unofficially mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

We can also call the race when it is all said and done with Group B, Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist will get his second win in the voting tournament for this year and a massive boost in the standings, a much-needed boost, to stay competitive.

As the results stated in the graphic above, this was a close match, but we knew where this was going ahead of this match. This was a much-needed boost for Rin Okumura (Blue Exorcist) in the standings after getting pushed outside the playoff bubble just last month during his bye, and here he is. Back in the playoff bubble, sitting in third place, but is back in the bubble. He defeats Mash Burnedead from Mashle 29-22 at poll closing as the final score. Rin’s 56.9% of the votes over Mash’s 43.1% of the votes.
