What is up my dudes. This is my first time
trying to make a b such a long time so sorry if anything seems weird in it lol. Now I've been wanting to make a post like this for awhile because I've had more time lately to watch anime and I've realized that it's harder for me
to find good shows to watch nowadays, you know what I mean? Finding something as good as your favorite shows can be pretty challenging, especially when you're more of an anime watcher rather than a manga reader like myself. It made me wonder why the shows I like the most are better to me than other shows I try to get into.
Now the series I'll be talking about aren't the only ones I absolutely love, but they are ones that have literally everything I need to be satisfied. In all of these shows, I have never wanted to finish all of the episodes because I didn't want to run out of good entertainment to watch. Some shows I end up watching are good, but most of the time by the end of the series I just want the story to wrap up because I have a thing about not finishing shows, I just feel unsatisfied not knowing what happens even if I'm not very invested in the story. That's a big problem when it comes to me starting an anime, it's a gamble on if I'll enjoy it or not, and if I don't end up liking it, I'll have regret for not watching the rest of the show (Especially if it's 24+ eps long  )
Anyways let's begin bois

Ahh good old AOT. I'd have to say that this is probably my favorite anime, if I can even make a choice for such a decision. So many things in this masterpiece have blown my mind, although it could be because it was one of the first anime that I've ever actually watched. I have, however, rewatched the first season over 3 times and rewatched the second season once. That makes it my most rewatched franchise ever. I've had the pleasure of rewatching it with my brother and friend (different times) and have watched in both dub and sub. All of the OVA's are also just as great! Especially the Levi ones, but you have to watch the first season before anything makes sense in them, of course. Honestly I can go on and on about why I love this anime so much but I'll keep it short.

THE. FREAKING. SOUNDTRACK. Omg never have I heard a soundtrack in any other form
of film/tv that is as good and fitting as the Attack on Titan Soundtrack. Every track on it is placed during the exact right moments and completely enhances the mood of each scene by like 1000%. There are beautiful songs along with hardcore ones as well for certain moments in the show that go along with the mood that is set. The soundtrack is on iTunes as well as other platforms that I'm unaware of at the moment, but I usually just listen to them on Soundcloud :P And don't even get me started with the opening. Hands down the first opening is my favorite anime opening of all time. The ending to the second arc of the first season is also very very good in my opinion. But honestly, every single opening and ending is great, along with the visuals that are presented to the viewer.
Another thing that is great about the show itself is how there are so many different scenes in it that can make you cry, feel good, feel happy and even angry. The betrayals and character actions that are made in the show are so well done and written. The story is and odd one I do it, but having something obscure and unique isn't always a bad thing, of course we all know. Looking at the popularity of the show, it's hard for me to believe there are people who didn't think it was weird before watching it, and eventually became big fans (Like me). The cast of characters is also very powerful, with voice actors for the dub and sub that do an amazing job with their roles. You can really feel for some of these poor characters when watching the show, especially for the first time.
WIT Studio also definitely made a great decision when deciding to adapt the original manga, which didn't have the greatest artwork (At least in the beginning). Having a first season with 25 episodes to begin with is pretty tough to begin with, but the animation was absolutely stellar for what it was. Very few high quality anime with 24+ episodes have come out in the last decade, and AOT is one of them that was to pull it off. Even though the second season had only 12 episodes, the animation became EVEN BETTER, but some say that waiting 4 years for another season with 12 eps wasn't worth it. I'm lucky because I only had to wait 4 months after watching the first season hehe... Anyways, it's honestly hard for me to point out any flaws this show makes because everything I can think of is perfect. The only thing I can really think about it not being perfect is that the show isn't for everyone. It's not ridiculously bloody, although there certainly is blood. I'd suggest it for anyone over the age of 11. The dub is also very good in my opinion but the sub is just as good, so either one you pick is a great choice. That being said, there is a bit of cursing in the dub but it's nothing a 12 year old hasn't heard before. If you search online and check the recommended ages for this show, it'll probably say something like 17+, but I think that's bs.

This is truly a special anime, at least to me. An anime that took so many risks and ultimately won the hearts of the many people that watched it. I am aware of the hate the show got for the last two episodes, but I was able to let it slide because everything else presented in the show was so good. This show was so good that I finished it within 24 hours... DURING THE SCHOOL WEEK LOL!! I watched the first 6 episodes at night, 2 episodes the next day literally AT SCHOOL and the rest at home that afternoon. So yeah, to say the least, I enjoyed the show. At the time of me discovering this, it made me wonder why there couldn't be more shows like this that were this good.

Now Attack on Titan was able to do many things for me, except for making me do one thing that I rarely ever do when watching anime, and that being slipping a tear. Seriously, Erased and one other show are the only ones that have ever been able to make me cry by the end. The way that the show was able to take its plot and follow it so thoroughly was very impressive, and I do have to say, it's definitely my favorite adaptation by far from A-1 Pictures.
I love how when the years change in the show, black bars show up on the top and bottom of the screen to make it look like you're watching it in a movie theatre. This aesthetic made it so much better to watch, and I can only think of one other show that tried doing this, though not nearly as well as Erased did. The crisp animation is a big plus for me, especially the unique character designs. Originally I turned away from watching it because of the art style, and I'm so glad I gave it a chance because I would've missed watching a masterpiece of a show. Don't ever let the art style of any anime fool you!! The opening is also a favorite of mine as well, so good that I listen to it every now and then just to jam to.
This story is gonna take you for a ride on the feels train, and I mean it. Be prepared to love AND hate the characters in the show, because some of the things that they do will make you rage in your head along with feeling happy for them. I this one scene that had my heart beating so loudly because it was so intense, literally, I could hear my heart beat that's how loud it was xD those kinds of things are signs that you're watching a great show, and that happening is another thing that I wish more shows would do for me. This anime had barely any stereotypes in it which is very refreshing because I'm not a big fan of seeing the same thing in every freaking show. The uniqueness of the story and plot is something that I really do appreciate in a show that came out only 2 years ago, because it seems to me that writers are starting to run out of original ideas that can really captivate an audience. From start to finish, every second of this show will keep you at the end of your seat.
If there's anything I can say about this anime that is on the negative side, the last two episodes are a bit of a low point for the show. It doesn't stop you from caring about the characters or story but it takes a big risk that shouldn't have been taken. If you have watched the show already, you know what I'm talking about. All in all, I was very sad to have finished this show so quickly because it was that good. Though another good thing is that the ending doesn't force you to read the manga because the story is complete, which I appreciate very much in a show. For those I would recommend it to, I'd say anyone over the age of 13 because not only is there some bad language in it (For the dub I mean), it also has some themes that may not be suitable for everyone. That being said, the themes that are presented are another thing I love about it.

When I first found out about this show, I was instantly hooked. Why? Well it's not every day that you hear about a show that has comedy, horror AND ecchi in it. I don't think I've ever seen that in any other show that I've watched, and for good reason too. I found out about this anime in a YouTube video for recommendations. After seeing literally one clip, I just had to watch the first episode. It's been awhile since I've last seen this anime, but I'm pretty sure that I watched this within a week (Which is very quick for me, considering my long watching list). My oh my, does this show have a lot of things I love.

Personally I love anything that has to do with zombies, whether it's Call of Duty Zombies, The Walking Dead, or zombies in anime, I'm all for it. It's very rare however to find any anime that has zombies in it though, so this was one that I'm glad I didn't miss. The whole idea about the show is that there is a girl who his being mistreated by her father and a boy who only has an interest for 'zombie girls', weird I know. Eventually through certain means, the girl ends up turning into a zombie and the boy and girl work together to keep her away from her father, who does inappropriate things with his daughter. I'll it that the story is a little quirky, but it takes itself seriously. A plot as odd as this one was enough to make me love it for what it was. This obviously isn't something that would appeal to all people, in fact probably very few, but I for one was drawn to it pretty easily. In some ways this is also a guilty pleasure anime of mine.
Something I'd like to mention is the bond between the boy and the girl in the show. Especially in the beginning, they share each other's problems and help with overcoming them, which is very sweet. I also LOVE the character design on the main character, it's something like I've never seen before. I also watched this anime in dub and they had the perfect voice actor for him, I'd suggest the dub over the sub for this one, though the sub is also very good too. Now as far as comedy goes, I've laughed countless times while watching this show. The timing for the jokes and punchlines is great, and the cast is just wonderful as well. There is even an episode focused on one of my favorite characters who otherwise would've been a very underrated character.
Now it's time for the things that the show could work on. I'm very open to watching anime that is obscure and out of the ordinary, and this one is no exception. However, some of the scenes in Sankarea are a little too weird for me lol. This wasn't a big problem for me, but that is why I didn't score it higher. I feel like the themes in this show could've been presented in a more serious way, because once you watch it, you'll realize that some of the stuff that the show doesn't seem to take very seriously is actually very serious. With some of the supernatural things taken out of this show, I feel like this could actually be a good live action tv show or even a film if done correctly. I'd suggest this show to anyone 13+, because there are many scenes in it that, uh, aren't safe for work. Lol. Not only that but again with the girl's father in the show, some may find what he does disturbing, I know I sure did.

Oh boy here we go. If I had to pick one anime that most people (At least anime watchers) would enjoy, it would probably be this one, and that is excluding my subjective opinions. This isn't my favorite anime but I've come to the conclusion that this one is probably the show that does basically everything right in every way. My friend told me about this and I originally didn't want to continue watching after the first episode, but that was because it just kind of seemed weird to me at the time. It's about this guy who's hand is possessed by a parasite that came from outer space or something, and he now has superhuman abilities and has to keep it secret from everyone. Even after knowing the synopsis and watching the first episode, I still gave up on watching it for a couple months. I decided to pick it up again because I was bored and I'm very glad I did because I finished the whole thing within 2 weeks (Which is really good for me if it's 24 eps)

I doubt anyone has ever heard of a story like this from any other form of entertainment, ok maybe a couple. But again, something as unique as this is always appreciated by me. Madhouse did a great job animating the action scenes in this anime, as well as being able to make it a full length high quality show. This anime doesn't follow any stereotypes because the source material was made in the 1900's, and the anime came out in 2014. So yeah, there weren't too many stereotypes to follow back then. And speaking of adapting an old manga, bravo to Madhouse for doing such a good job with making everything seem like it happened in the current year. Another thing they did well is the dub, which is probably one of the best dubs out there tbh. Seriously, it's better than any of the other dubs in this blog.
And omg that opening tho. The opening is used for all 24 episodes of the show and honestly I'm glad they did that because it had such a good song. It's actually my second favorite opening, right behind AOT opening 1. The visuals in the opening are also very good and the vocals in the song are very powerful. It really sets the mood at the beginning of every episode and gets you hyped up for what's going to happen next in the story. The ending is also very very very good, and very different from the opening at that, as it's a slower track with soothing lyrics. Half the time I'd get chills from watching and listening to the ending after some of the episodes because of how greatly everything was timed. The soundtrack in general is also very good, though it doesn't rival AOT's soundtrack, it's definitely worth noting.
The unpredictable moments in this anime are just great and well timed. I can think of plenty of parts in the show where I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next, but before I knew it, the episode ends. Something that I always appreciate, like I said earlier in the blog, is how an anime won't make you read the manga to see the ending. Most of the time, an anime based off of a manga or light novel is usually just used to get people to buy the source material and finish the story there. I think it's really bs how they do that but you really can't blame them because an anime is very hard to make, especially higher budget ones. I'm very glad though, that Madhouse was able to adapt all of the manga to the very end, leaving the viewer satisfied. All of that being said, I am confident that this show has managed to meet any expectations that a viewer could have before watching it. The only reason you wouldn't like this show is because of its plot, at least that's what I think. If you watched this show and you didn't like it for a reason other than that, let me know in the comments. As for ages I would recommend this show to, probably anyone over 12 years old, but really it just matters on if you can handle a bit of blood and gross scenes, because trust me, there are quite a few of those.

Here we go again with the zombies xD now besides this and a couple other shows I can think of at the moment, I really can't think of any other shows that have zombies in it. Although this is one of the few that do have zombies in it, it takes it to the freaking extreme, my dudes. Great for Ecchi fans, great for Horror fans, and great for Action fans. Honestly this show is an all in one package of goodness that can't be ignored. For real tho, if you haven't seen this anime, stop whatever you're doing and go watch it like right now.

So many reasons why I love this show. I guess I'll start with the story then, because I really liked it. Zombies start coming out of nowhere and a bunch of students at a school have to work together to get out alive and survive. Pretty easy to follow, right? The simplicity is what I like about the show, as well as how it decides to have its characters react to what is going on. The main character is one of my favorite MCs because he is badass and he isn't looked up to by everyone in the beginning of the show, but ends up proving himself as the story moves on.
Now of course a big reason why people will be watching this in the first place is because of the Ecchi scenes. If you've watched this anime before then you already know that there are plenty of those to come by. Honestly it's kind of funny how the characters take everything seriously in the show when something is over-sexualized, especially the "Legendary Boob Scene", which I'll not get into, lol. But yeah, this is probably the best Ecchi anime I've ever watched, and I'm grading that by how entertaining it was to watch as a whole... Because I have seen other Ecchi shows that have only focused on mostly sexy scenes alone, which isn't really my cup of tea. High School of the Dead is the perfect example of a show that does Ecchi right and has a legitimate story that can be viewed by people that are looking for different things in an anime.
What's really disappointing is that this show only has 12 episodes and 1 OVA, which will go by faster than you think. This anime came out in 2010 and has "confirmed" a second season at the end of the OVA episode, but it's now 2018 and there are no signs of a season 2 currently. You know that I'm into a show when I'm begging for a season 2, because like I've said before, some shows I'm glad to get done with simply because I wanted to know the end of the story, even if it wasn't that good. But this show forces you to read the manga to continue the story, though you won't be able to find out the true ending because the author of the manga has actually ed away last year :(. So as far as a new season, I'd say there is enough source material for another 12 episodes, but there is a chance that Madhouse won't continue it due to the original creator no longer being with us. I'd recommend this anime to anyone over the age of 14, because it's pretty mature in many ways tbh.

Genres: Action, Slice of Life, Comedy, Supernatural

My Rating: 8.75/10

Possibly the most epic slice of life that's available to watch, Mob Psycho 100 is a show that also took many risks. At first I was REALLY against watching the show because the art style seemed so weird to me. It was definitely different, and it probably drove many other people away too. But now that I've given it a chance, I actually have come realize how beautiful the animation and art style is. By the same creator as One Punch Man, this comedy shows how a lonely boy deals with having psychic powers while keeping it a secret from the outside world. It's really funny to me how clueless the main character is at times, especially because he doesn't realize that he's being manipulated by his boss. Nonetheless, I like the boss character as well.

Back to the animation again, it is simply just stellar. Especially the fight scenes throughout the show, you can clearly tell how much effort was put into making them look as cool as possible with the style that they went with. The opening is also one of the best openings I've ever seen as far as creativity and inventiveness. Not only is the song good but the visuals are absolutely captivating. I watching the first episode and seeing the opening, not having a clue about what could possibly happen in the show because everything was so random. The way they did the ending is also very cool, though I wasn't too into the song.
All of the characters in this anime have made me laugh at least once, which is pretty hard to do for me actually. I've watched many comedy anime in the past but this one is probably my favorite for that genre because of the way it presents the jokes and how dumb some of the scenes in the show are. For me, the dumber something is, the funnier it is. That's not to say that this show isn't one to take seriously, because some of the themes it has are actually pretty touching. Mob, the mc, is a very relatable character. In the show, he deals with being alone and not being able to show people his powers, which in the process, has made his personality very dull. Him doing that results in him not making many friends, which is pretty sad, though we as the viewer know it's because of his efforts to hide his powers, and not because he isn't interested in making friends.
I really wish there were more shows like this that are both cool to watch as an action show, but also leave room to really connect with the characters that are dealing with something that the viewer may even be dealing with. Whether it is struggling to be yourself, feeling inferior to others, or trying to fit in, the characters in this show will show what it's like for them too. That is something that I really appreciate not only in anime, but just in general. The dub for this show is also very nice, and I suggest it over the sub. This show can really be viewed by all audiences because there really isn't anything inappropriate in it, whether it be language or disturbing scenes. This is a show that everyone can sit down and have a fun time watching together, which again, is something I love about this show. :)

Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. Again, I wanted to talk about why I actually like the shows that I like, and what I want to see in new anime that I decide to watch. If you have any anime suggestions for me that follow some of the things that I've talked about wanting to see more often, go ahead and tell me in the comments below and I may just give it a watch! I'm always open to watching new funky stuff yo
But yeah. I'm not sure if I want to keep doing blogs that are this long but if I find more things to talk about and/or show, then I'll make sure to post it in the future. For now, cya later lads  :fire: :fire: :100:
Edit: First of all, thank you for the feature. Second of all, thank you for 1000 likes, literally blew my mind especially because this is my first time getting featured so it's a pretty big deal for me. This blog took me so dang long to get done and I'm happy a good amount of people got to see it, so I'll have a new blog talking about seasonal anime up next probably sometime this weekend, so follow me if you wanna see that. Anyways peace :v:

I know that my brother watched the Dub version of Parasyte.
The voice acting was fucking awful to the point where I probably can’t appreciate the creativity and characters
I didn't think it was that bad but I guess Dub isn't for everyone

I’m usually fine with dubbed anime, it just felt extremely forced to me
I cant find hunterxhunter
Thus making your opinion and anything else in the great bvalid and irrelevant
Of erased really is that kind of show, that will bring anyone to tears in watching it! Because so far, the only anime that has ever made me cry, even though I’ve watched clannad, your lie in April and all of those sad shows, Tokyo Ghoul has only ever made me cry. So yeah. I’m off to watch it!
Nice Blog.
No OPM?
Was seriously thinking about it but I decided that Mob Psycho 100 was better. OPM is still a warlord of an anime
