Hello of AAA

I'm sure some of you have already heard of this update but for those who didn't, Amino is now owned by the same owner as Kik, an 18+ app known for its sexual content and bots. And they just introduced a new feature called " live mode".
As you already guessed the content being streamed by this feature is not SFW. This feature is shown in all communities with no way to toggle it on or off as far as we are aware. Amino is forcing it to be shown in every single community, exposing underage s to sexual content.
The update is only out for apple at the moment, so DO NOT UPDATE and turn off autoupdates for amino.

Issue a complaint

Team amino might not care our anymore but it doesn't hurt to issue a complaint. Maybe with massive numbers the feature could be removed.

I emailed them and the only response back was thanks I'll it on to the development team
The first email you get is usually a bot but let's hope they take that seriously

I'm sure that it will be removed. But let's keep our cool and don't panic. It will only make things worse. But I think that we will be able turn in on and off since there are underage people in amino
So far leaders that I talked to expressed that there's no way to turn it on and off
But let's hope they remove it completely.
