To make the story short- My parents convinced me that I should get myself " out there "~
Mom: Wow you should be animating or something for like cartoons and stuff... You aren't working over the summer ( right? ) Why don't you build a following- Make a portfolio, Do speed paints, or even do those commissions you talk about- Ye. Do that.
Me: ... I don't think. ( She won't take the " belittling " of myself ) okay.
Soooo I wonder where I should start- That's why I decided to just ask my babes~! You guys are the most ive people I've ever met and Amino is where I have my largest following~ ( I cultivated myself here! )
If you wouldn't mind giving me a bit if your time- Can you please help me in deciding which platform I should begin on~

That's really cool of your mom though. My mom was never really ive of my artistic endeavors and.... Well, it's probably mostly why I'm a biologist instead of an illustrator or animator :(
I like the idea of "speedpaint & chatting" videos :)

I think about these things but my official job I'm pushing towards is to be a doctor so perhaps I will end up the same, but with art on the side because I love it so much~ rn I just have nothing else to do lol

Yeah, I enjoy it well enough. It's not as though I hate science or anything; wouldn't have stuck through 4years of school because I was told to D:
I do feel like it's good that art isn't my job though; it's more fun that way XD

Ermmm about that- I don't know , I'm going to be honest :joy: I often feel like I'm taking a gamble when I write something that I actually care to be read, the rest are just for funzies to keep them updated~ (¯∇¯٥)

Maybe I should ask them- I'm sorry for not knowing , you've given me so much but I cant tell you this, I apologise for that-
However here is a list of the things I like to do to interact with them-
The thing is , I don't wait for them to come to me, I interact with them of my own free accord, come to them
I often leave a paragraph to leave a good impression on the first following
I like all photos , I leave comments when I see them ( I like annually )
I speak to them if they are to pm me
I hold conversations like this one in comments
I scroll and comment on the latest feed
I used to update regularly , like everyday or every other day , its like a YouTube schedule~
Those are the things that I do- I try to be friends with them, so they know me more personally

Probably YouTube commission speed paints, I wouldn’t mind watching those, and with your art style I’m sure that people on YouTube with think so too. :heart: although animation wouldn’t be that bad, but I’ve tried before an whoooooooooooooosh buddy I literally died I couldn’t even get past 15 seconds. So maybe you can. Who knows XD
