DIY 18in doll Edwardian Mantle Cape part 1

This is the beginning of a series of Edwardian 18in doll outfit DIY Totorials, were going to begin with a Mantle Cape ( See first pic , credit goes to Vintage Dancer) first I'm going to walk you through how to make a pattern.

You will need:

Paper of any kind

Pen

Cotton fabric

Thread

Sewing machine/needle

Snaps

Step one: lay doll on paper, draw a line at about the beginning of the dolls undies

Step two: Mark your dolls shoulders

Step three: Make a half circle

Step four: Cut out and repeat Step one-three

Step five: Draw line through middle of one of the half circles, cut
