Recently I've been getting lots of inspiration to make doll clothes, but for one of the projects I don't think I have the correct fabric type. I want to make this sailor moon varsity jacket I found from hot topic, but all I have is non stretch cotton fabric. Would that work? I originally wanted to go with a t-shirt fabric, but I couldn't find any in stores. Any help will be appreciated!

Yes it should, as long as it isn't tight fitting and there is enough fabric for it to actually go on the doll

I agree, bomber jackets like that tend to be made from a stiffer fabric and have little to no stretch to them. ( the only stretch would be from the cuff and waist band which is elastic) If in doubt just cut the pattern pieces a little bigger ( I like to add anywhere between 1/4” to 1/2” of extra space)
