What to do when you see drama

Hello everyone! Today we're going to be talking about drama in the community. After being on the moderation team for quite some time, I've seen my fair share of drama happen.

I've noticed that in precarious situations many people don't know what to do, so we're going to go through some crucial steps you need to take if you see any drama. I know that normally I talk in a sarcastic tone, however this is a very serious issue that cannot be taken lightly.

I would like to explicitly say that one of the main messages of this post is to tell s not to become "mini mods."

What is a mini mod?

A mini mod is a person who takes drama matters into their own hands, and tries to take care of it without telling actual s. PLEASE do not do this. Not only does it create a bigger mess to clean up, but it also could put you in a more harmful situation.

Posts related to specific drama between s will be taken down by the staff to ensure that we have a safe environment. There is absolutely no need to mention toxic behavior that s have done.

Get Evidence

Drama happens in many different shapes, sizes and forms. From s arguing, to inappropriate messages, we've seen it all. If there is any issue on this amino in which you feel that yourself or other s could be hurt or in danger, we ask you to screenshot the evidence. The beautiful thing about being online is that everything we say, see, and do is all in chats or posts, which can be easily captured.

Tell a

After taking a screenshot of the offensive item(s), please send it to any s that are online at that time. If none are online you can send it to any of us. While most people go to Delta, I urge you to think twice because he can sometimes get bombarded with too many people coming to him at once. There are other s that can do the same things as him.

All of us on the team are here to help. If a curator or leader is behaving inappropriately, send proof to a different staff member. Afterwards we will review the validity of your complaint.

Don't spread rumors

It can be extremely tempting to tell other s about drama you've seen here, however we must ask you to refrain. We pride ourselves on having a nontoxic environment, and part of that is keeping drama confined to only s involved.

Often the story gets twisted after being shared with so many people, which turns it from fact into fiction. Essentially, we just want to make sure that other s don't feel endangered by the threat that you also saw.

Don't create more drama

We've seen many banned s chat with that aren't banned through a third party. While we may have no control over that, the moderation team would like to ask you not to bring that 's drama back into the community. Especially in public chat rooms. This undermines the threat they once caused here, while also recirculating issues that have been already dealt with.
