There’s been a tragedy... or at least it’s coming soon. We have just over a month.
Anyone who found a safe space, or cares about safe spaces, in LGBTA Wiki (and other LGBT+ based wikis) should read this post.
I will make a separate Tl;dr. post later. I feel as though the whole story is important, which is why I put as much as I could here.

Ezgender’s Summary of the Situation
Notes I wrote to my friend over text:
”... as content is added to this wiki, only official that are recognized by people working on LGBTQIA+ issues will be approved.”
Well, I hope ya get approved by “LGBT+ issue workers”, otherwise you won’t have an identity.
Like, if “be gay, do crime”, then “be less known identity, do double crime”.
They already messed up a definition for, like, one of the easiest *almost* less known identities {I was referencing genderflux and other that have been messed up}, and you trust us to handle our actually invisible ones? No thank.
Imagine telling people that their identity isn’t “official”????
Who decides who’s identity is “official” or “recognized” enough to exist?
Contie is the one of the main /Staff on LGBTA Wiki.
I skipped the “correspondence” between Contie and Sannse, a FANDOM Wiki /Staff. This is because it would’ve too hard to read on my screenshots. But you can read it on the post linked.
{btw, Wikipedia is over FANDOM Wiki, FANDOM Wiki is over LGBTA Wiki; therefore, Sannse is over and has more say then Contie, despite Contie knowing faer community the best}
Just know, Contie was one of the last people to know. Fae were not informed until last night. Fae weren’t even directly ed about the merge, fae only heard it on LGBTA Wiki when someone notified fae about the original post.
Fae also voices faer concerns about mistranslations and wrong/incorrect definitions. Sannse basically said “it is what it is” and “we’re going by common definitions, not accurate definitions”.
Sannse said that there will not be any less recognizable identities allowed in the new LGBTQIA Wiki. All xenogenders will be removed, only one (inaccurate) page reguarding xenogenders in general.
Sannse said they left Ezgender alone because it is small and because it, along with Xenogender Wiki, should have been in charge of gender identities. {btw, Ezgender Wiki is accepting less known identities, including genders, orientations, etc.}
We are *politely* explaining why the merge is a horrible idea here on her wall.
Contie updated, stating fae got in touch with Ezgender Staff about the merge, to which they were equally surprised and confused.
Contie added more screenshots of faer conversation with Sannse.
Contie voices her concerns that Ezgender Wiki has no idea either. Fae asked which Wikis would’ve affected? Why are they getting rid of smaller identities? Are they not queer enough? Fae pleads they read the many concerns and worries people have written on a post and for them to look at the petition.
Contie: “Are microlabels not palatable enough? Not relevant dough? Not queer enough?”
Contie: “I urge you to reconsider this decision, that nobody whom it matters to was concerned about.”
Sannse finally states which Wikis will be effected:

•And a couple others? I can’t read it.
Sannse: “As you are making this conversation public, I’d say it’s time to discuss this with you publicly rather then here. I object to DMs being made public on principle, even though I’ve said nothing here that I wouldn’t have said publicly anyway!”
I would normally agree that DMs are private, however, this is not about Contie and Sannse, and Contie knows it. It’s about FANDOM Wiki vs the LGBT+ Community, especially those with less known identities who found a safe space in LGBTA Wiki, who will now have no where else to go. Contie is doing faer duty as the community leader and the head of what many may consider a family.
Theres a Petition Aginst the Merge.
You need a first/last name, email, and location.
1- You can put “First Name: {add your name}” and “Last Name: {add “.”}” for your name.
2- Your email is not shared by anyone to anyone. I believe it is just a way to make sure no one signs twice.
3- I put my location as Nowhere, OK, USA (zip is: 73038)
Btw, big fat lie that “The many xenogender pages that have been created on other Fandom wikis will not disappear ... all pages are archived.”
Not all pages are achieved and most staff who made the decision to merge are not even helping archive. Mostly, only people from the LGBTA Wiki community, other LGBT+ based wiki communities, Ezgender Wiki community, and the Xenogender Community as a whole, are archiving important identities right now. We have about a month to do so.

Fae is saying that even though FANDOM Wiki has made their final decision and the petition is not going to effect it, fae can see how unified we are as a community and how much effort we are willing to put into fixing the mess FANDOM Wiki made.
Contie, and many other main s of LGBTA Wiki, have talked about moving to a new website, others have been heading over to Ezgender Wiki.

As Contie has said several times, the staff are still communicating over whether to switch to Miraheze, Ezgender Wiki, or both.
However, Ezgender Wiki is working tirelessly to archive the pages/identities onto their Wiki. It is a struggle seeing as they were a small community, but now many people have rushed in to save LGBTA Wiki and many people’s identities.
Ezgender Wiki is nearly done copy/pasting pages/identities, but they need help transferring and adding flags onto the new pages. However, they said they are “basically done” archiving, but I saw a few identities that have not been transferred yet, which worries me a bit.
I am not sure how the new Miraheze website is doing with archiving or anything because I have not even touched it yet.
We have just over one month to fully archive and transfer before LGBTA Wiki, and the others, are deleted.
Help is wanted! We are trying to archive all LGBTA pages/identities onto Ezgender Wiki! I believe some people are also trying to add pages/identities to the new Miraheze website, but I don’t know much about that.
